The last weeks were busy (surprise) - work, school, helping a friend moving houses, nephew, baby dog of my nephew, family,....crazy times as always. Besides being occupied with loads of "to-do's" we manage to enjoy the little amount of free time to have some fun time. This weekend we enjoyed having my lion's sister over to visit. It was really a great, relaxing, "definitely-ate-too-much", fun, christmasy weekend! The first to Christmas Markets opened and we went to have a look at them and to taste the this years hot wine and stuff. It was kitschy but the weirdest of it was that the weather mixed the seasons and it seems that spring took over. Now we need iced mulled wine!

Eurofurence rocked!!!! As I am suffering right now a heavy pcd, I am going to write a more detailed entry soon.
But for now I have to thank everybody who made this years EF a blast - it really was an awesome con. Besides all the events it was great to hang out with friends all day and night long!! Great to get to know some of you better and to make new friends.
Sob...why has it to be over soooo sooon? But as a friend said right: after the con is before the con - so while I am looking through pictures and reports of others I am looking already forward to meet you all again at next years EF.

I was searching in the internet to find some ideas how to dress up and decorate for Eurofurence. Then I found this and since 10 minutes I can't stop laughing:

Part of our holiday we spent (additional to our week on the beautiful beach of Corfu) at a friends house in Germany. It was intended to be a working meet - as we did some brain storming for the upcoming Eurofurence, distributed duties behind the scene, get to know our team better - but besides the work it developed pretty much into a smoothly, cosy, fun weekend. I would say the perfect team emerged while having time to talk, joke, laugh, enjoying barbecue and beer. I pretty much enjoyed the time!

By now we are back in Austria, already back at work where shit loads of work welcomed me - my relaxation only lasted for about 1 1/2 days... pathetic. But looking back we had an awesome time in Greece and Germany - looking forward it's going to be EF soon!!! yippieeeee!

ooohhh....sometimes wishes become real!
I got a awesome cookie jar to my b-day 3 month ago. Pretty soon the jar was empty - all cookies gone. The cookie jar lost it's function and I didn't have cookies anymore but still it decorated our kitchen - what's a cookie jar without cookies?
...then we mentioned the dramatic situation to Tabalon - tabalon reacted immediately and send me a incredible awesome refill package of delicious coookkkiieeees...cooookiiieees! You saved the kingdom, the life of the Mangolioness!

Tabalon you are crazy, really - I still speechless...not only because my mouth is filled with cookies!

The cookies arrived in a pretty mango-orange colored box, wrapped in cloth with a bow - pretty! It looked really, really pretty. After unwrapping the cookies I started eating, enjoying them and refilled the jar - now I have some cookie-supplies for some weeks - I am safe!

I passed my exams perfectly - I did it!!! I did better than I would have dreamt about, yeah! Can't believe that again half of a year passed by - not being noticed. Time flies - while I spent my days filling my head with knowledge.
But I still can't believe that the busy times of studying take a summer break...now - what shall I do with my spare time?
Spare time??? There is no time to spare - the busy study time changed-over into catching up with everything and additional I have to celebrate my successful term extensive!!

And we booked our holidays! ohhh...I am soo looking forward having some relaxed days on the beach with my lion!! and Taibu gets the change to be an "open water diver"!

Turning 30 isn't bad! I was looking forward to this birthday since a year now.
I celebrated my b-day with a lots of friends & some of them didn't mind traveling some distance to celebrate with me. I love to have my friends around and seeing almost all of them gathered around to make my day a special day was incredible.
You all made me enjoying a fantastic weekend with a flat full of sleep over friends, sightseeing & a fursuit walk in the Vienna City, great talks, delicious food, fun, fun, fun and awesome presents (books, colourful socks, a killer t-shirt, a cookie jar (love cookies), tea, gift vouchers, a beautiful cup made by theolven - love it, a very fantastic tree-charm (its going to accompany me from now on) trees are very important to me and some more presents - thank you all, I am really touched!

Saturday before the party started we headed to the city center to a funny fursuit walk. The people especially the kids loved us and the four could really enjoy themself.

In the evening all my friends celebrated my b-day with me in a pub. I had a great evening and hope all of my guests as well. I enjoyed it a lot, I loved it!




I got a delicious cake with 30 candles and a lots a presents.

The other days we went sightseeing and discovered beautiful buildings, monuments and


together with amurussuri, mafundi, albrecht_fur, chikkennoodul & Luxen a wonderful stylish coffee house - I loved it!

and of course we had to visit the Viennese Zoo where we could observe the big cats having their dinner

and took a closer look into the treetops while walking on a bridge between the tree crowns


I have to admit that I had one of my best weekends ever! 5 days of great friends around! 5 days of joy!
Thank you all for making it happen! I am still speechless and very, very pleased.

Thanks to everybody for this awesome b-day weekend!

I enjoyed the perfect b-day party with a nice group of people. I had wonderful friends traveling to celebrate with me. It was great fun having up to 11 people in our flat - I enjoyed it really a lot!!!

Soon as I get all the pictures I am writing a more detailed report.

ohh...it's this time of year again!
Vienna dresses all in green and celebrates with the Irish folk, till Tuesday! So I had to take my Leprechaun hat I got last year and joined the party today! I had my green beer and enjoyed some Irish Folk music with friends! - to get ready to be Celtic on Tuesday!
It seems that Vienna gets more and more Irish lately. We actually have rainy days for weeks - wee to long! We should try to get rid of the rain in exchange of green beer the entire year long.

The new year started quite busy! Till today I barely had time to read the lj from my friends, neither answering e-mails, talking on the phone, meeting my friends and celebrate their birthdays.
For the last 3 weeks I only focused on my school duties: french -, chemistry-, psychology- & finally today I passed my "final chemistry"-examen!! whhoooooo - I studied like hell, ignored the world around me totally - today I really did a great job at the exam. I talked and talked and explained and made them believe I know everything about. The teacher didn't recognized me because normally I don't have much to say about chemistry - till today ;-)
Afterwards I realized that I finally have my (social) life back! I have to catch up with a lots of stuff and I am really looking forward to meet friends again, to read a book, to sleep,to take a walk in peace without chemistry in my head, to party,...to have some time - it feels soooooo good!
Thanks to my Löv taibu my life support. He dealt with the everyday struggles and with his maniac lioness!

Yesterday I got finally the chance to see a dear friend again. We spent hours talking - catching up the past months.
