(no subject)

My cold got better, I do still lack of sleep - but instead of finding some sleep I prefer going out. I'll never learn it how to find some sleeping time. But what's better than going out with a friend I haven't seen for a while. Julie had some tickets for a really nice play and afterwards we met some of her friends.
When I came home I got like a surprise - in the flat above us was going on a party. At first I thought "hey cool"...I ignored that the whole house was shaking and I started to hear the music on the ground floor - the party flat itself is situated in the 4th floor. When I entered our flat it occured to me that the music is really loud - but I thought to myself that I should think about students having a party like they are evil. So I pretend to myself being cool and tried to ignore it that it was already after midnight and the music still as loud as I would have turned it on in our flat. The walls were shaking because the bunch of people were dancing and jumping. Really I grant them crazy parties - but our walls are definitely not sound proof. So while I moved my sleeping place into the living room - there it was a bit more quiet, I was forced to listen 3 times to :"Last Christmas" - not that bad, if they wouldn't have sung along. It sounded like they were standing right next to me. I managed to find some restless sleep till I got awaken at 3:30 in the morning from a loud noise - at this time they were still playing loud music without regard. I really hope that they had a good time and that they enjoyed it, because I promise that it was the last time without any complains.
In the morning I felt exhausted but nevertheless I went with Julie and her kids the the UN Christmas Bazar. There you can get a lot of specialities from all over the world and the different countries perform some dances. I bought some earrings in the shape of Christmas decoration - I love them.
I already wore it tonight at the Christmas Market where I went to see some friends. It was so good to see Petra. She moved back to Upper Austria so we hardly see each other. We drank some mulled whine and talked, talked, talked...
Before I went of to meet her and friends I already decided not to go because I was so f****** tired. hmmm, I really was but than I got motivated and thought that I won't see her before Christmas otherwise so I went. Now it's long after midnight again and I am still awake.
Yeah... nothing will ever change - that's how it looks like - but it's great! Our tomorrow's schedule looks busy as well and soon the new week starts and I am tired like before the weekend started or maybe even more tired *g*. Life is definitely too fabulous to sleep more than necessary - too much things to do, see, experience,....

weekend with friends

My greylion and I flew to Germany last weekend. First I thought about not to come with him, because I would have needed some time for myself and still some time to do smth in our new flat. Work and school keep me busy thus I have less time for "normal" thinks like hanging around, reading, decorating our flat for Christmas...
But I am soo glad that Taibu convinced me...actually Shishi persuaded me with her call the day before, she didn't even know about. It was a great weekend with some private time with Tani and the guys from Kettwig.
While the musicans made some "loud noises", some of the others decided to attend the Christmas Market in Essen. They have a mediaeval Christmas Market too and I just can recommend it to everybody around - wow I was really impressed!
Taibu took the chance to take some fursuit pics. Even some with Tani, Nightfox & BBF - great pics made form Thalian (the Fotoschmied from EF).
It was a fabulous weekend!
Sunday evening I flew back home ...but without my beloved honey :(
He still enjoys his holiday in Germany! I miss him soo much, but it was so important for him to get some rest and to get distracted. His job situation really sucks - time to leave!

girls night out

I haven't laughed like that for a while. My whole body is aching from laughing! and it feels great!
I went out with a friend and two of her south american friends - talking girls stuff and stories life tells, after a while I stopped trying to catch up with their temperament, tried to catch up with breathing instead (in the wee gaps between laughing and laughing) and enjoyed their entertaining performing...ratzfatz - it was just great fun...giggle

EF rocked...wow

This year EF was awesome!

It started for Taibu and me last Tuesday - we headed up to Germany while listening to great music like the songs of the Fauna project...great songs by the way ;)
We picked up friends and continoued a joyful drive full of music to Suhl.

When we arrived at the Ringberg Hotel I was scared....don't like huge hotels like this - but I got to love it. It was great...wow...generous lobby, luxury rooms,...and everything dreamt for...juhu.

The con started for us on with waiting for doing the rehearsal of the Fauna project concert - while waiting I had the chance to get to know ShiShi and talked to other early arrivals. Poor staff...was busy, busy, busy....
At around 1.am the guys started to rock on stage - and it sounded great!! We had the pleasure to listen to Alec's voice for the first time and I felt in love with his voice when he sang "Creature of the Wood" - juhuhu !!

So for Taibu and me the con started already with some lack of sleep, but we could cope with that pretty easy. It turned out that this EF seemed to be more relaxed. The furs were more open minded and very talk active. The atmosphere was already on the first day as it is normaly just at the end - great! I talked more than ever, it was so easy this year to get in touch with somebody...wow!

Taibu's big day was Thursday evening - when the Fauna project concert took place. The guys rock!! It was a great concert with funny elements - now I in possession of a pirate hut...hey!

It appeared that the whole con was better than ever - not just for me!
On Saturday Alexander James Adams gave is fabulous concert. He replaces Heather pretty astonishing - his spirit and joy are contagious as Heather's.
Shaevairc came as guest for the concert and we both enjoyed it pretty much - next time I hope we can dance instead of sitting in rows. Would be much more fun jumping and dancing around!!

Time ran tooo fast...I tried to catch up, but ...
I slept as less as possible to not to miss to meet some of you. I had never a "real" hung over...just drank a few Jägermeister - yeah..this year I could resist...hehe...I got stronger...yeah!

Uncle Kage vs. 2 the Ranting Gryphon was amusing as expected!! yeah! not to forget the Pawpet Show..wow...you guys made me laugh at first and at the end was it so touching and emotional that I had to cry. Great show...wow!
Afterwards I was a bit contemplative but I managed to get in party mood with everybody around...hurray!! BBF Dance - nobody should miss this! Taibu and I enjoyed the dance floor as Shae, Kore & Alec and a lot of you did ;) - thanx to Tabbiefox for the flower necklace...very decorative!

Sunday lots of you left already...that's a sad part, hmm. I went for a walk around the hotel with friends. I left the hotel for the first time since Tuesday (just walked once outside for the BBQ...creepy somehow isn't it?). We walked to the zoo down in Suhl and went for cafe after we got soaked in the rain...pretty weather!
In the evening we went to the "Crazy Horse" for having dinner with around 50 furs - we enjoyed a delicious supper in good and funny company :)

Monday we had to say good bye to AmurUssuri, Laimika, Jari and others before we drove to Nürnberg to spent the day there. We just chilled and had Bratwurst and Sauerkraut for Kore. At the end of the day we had to say good bye again...sob!
But I am still in a great mood, just tired but inspired! It was great to see you all again and to meet new friends. Hope that the next EF will be here soon...just 12 months to go!

Party Season

At the moment it seems everybody is celebrating something :)!
So after Taibu's Birthdayparty and some days to recover I was invited to Petra's Birthday - and farewell Party!
She threw the party together with a friend, so they celebrated their 66. Birthday (both became 33.!)

It was such a nice mixture of friends - great chats with a lot to laugh about! Petra has a very open minded circle of friends - so nothing is impossible to happen. I'm pleased being part of this circle.
So we talked, danced and enjoyed the evening till 5am - it's amazing how fast an evening/night can pass by - when I looked at my watch the first time I was surprised that I already missed the last Underground..and after some more talks it was possible to take one of the first trains in the morning. It's an experience to travel with exhausted, tired, drunk people - remained from the night before - and some poor guys who are on their way to work at this time of day. I was a little bit drunk and tired...but happy and smiling - I took a newspaper at the station for my journey entertainment - but it seemed that I was exhausted too and I had troubles to stay awake.
The Party took place far away - at the other end of Vienna, so for me it was a long journey home. Trying to stay awake...but at the end I failed and fell asleep - and woke up at the Undergroundstation-garage, totally puzzled! The funny thing is that I always wanted to know what's behind the station - where the tube vanish and turns -
in my youth, friends and I wanted to stay in the tube to experience what's behind the station, but we were cowards and never found out - but now I know everything! I'm sooo proud of myself! It just took me over 20 years for it :)
So I came home after such an exciting happening around 6am - and after only four hours of sleep I prepared myself for a nice family dinner - just being present...trying to handle my hang-over!
