faces of nature
I love being out for walks & enjoying the nature around me. We moved close to a huge park and I am just discovering every single path, corner,...of it - and I already experienced that it will take me a while to really get to know it. It's a funny, balanced park. There are many common paths, but you'll find more little, secret ones as well. In between the path (each path has like a border made of old, huge trees) they try to keep the wood natural savage - to prevent some parts for the animals to live in - they try to provide it for rare animals with their natural environment and to save some for their extinction.
I walked for about an hour and enjoyed the colors once more around me and I played with and in the leaves - I love it. I hardly notice the people around me, because there was so much to discover and to observe. There jumped squirrels around and suddenly when dawn set in, in one corner of the park it swarmed with hundreds of ravens...kraaa, kraaah - it was so astonishing to watch them dance on the sky. Some made a rest in the trees around - I was really sad that I didn't have a camera with me, because it looked so fascinating. Some trees were overload by ravens - wow! In this park there is a outdoor swimming pool for kids, for the summer time. It is still water in the pool and some ravens took the advantage to go for a swim - the onlookers on the trees around encouraged them and supported them with a lots of krah, kraaahh, kraahhh.
When I walked through this part of the park underneath the trees full of ravens it just appeared so fascinating and somehow scary...brrr.
Hopefully I can persuade my Greylion to accompany me next time - and I guess I have a good chance, because on the 18th of November they'll open a small booth to provide the people around with mulled wine - yippie!!
